Masood Ahmed participated in the 2-day workshop entitled, “Development of Sustainable and Collaborative Research Networks” on 7th January 2011 at Karachi University organized in collaboration with the British Council and Higher Education Commission.	SDRC participated in the “4th International Conference & Exhibition on Power Generation, Power Efficiency and Pricing Challenges” on 11th January 2011 at the Expo Centre.	SDRC conducted a seminar entitled “The transition from a fossil fuel Economy to Renewable Energy Economy: Opportunities and Obstacles” on 27th January 2011 at SZABIST 90 Clifton.

A visit made to Jaffer Jhokio village on 12th January 2011 by Team SDRC and six shortlisted students from Social Sciences Program to conduct a survey on the sample of the population to gain knowledge about their lifestyle and social & economic systems.	SDRC made a visit to the Jaffer Jhokio village on 29th January 2011 to finalize the documentary on the village’s current status.
