SDRC - Projects
Rural Electrification of Model Village
This project involves selecting particular village(s) where the electrification process is to be executed.
In the initial stage, a village close to the SZABIST Research Center in Gharo has been highlighted as an experiment village where an indigenized wind turbine of 1 MW, made at SZABIST’s Center for Renewable Energy Research would be installed to generate electricity for the village. The objectives of the projects are
- To give proof of concept of the renewable energy technologies developed by SZABIST.
- To bridge the gap between renewable energy research and its benefits to common people.
- To provide a testing ground for the improvisation of SZABIST Renewable Energy Products.
- To be an active player in the field of off grid rural electrification through Renewable Energy Technologies.
After an extensive survey of the Jaffer Jokhio Goth in Gharo, SDRC would be facilitating the village in the following three dimensions
- Water
- Medical/Health
- Energy(Bio Gas)
